The NJ Youth Corps of Phillipsburg Clean Street Corps puts young people to work making a visible difference in their community. Supported through funding from the Phillipsburg Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ), the initiative engages Corpsmembers in hands-on projects that help keep Phillipsburg’s streets, business districts, parks, and public spaces clean, attractive, and welcoming.

Clean Street Corps activities include litter removal, streetscape maintenance, seasonal beautification, landscaping, and other community improvement projects. Corpsmembers gain valuable work experience while developing job-readiness skills, teamwork, responsibility, and a stronger connection to the community they serve.

By combining Urban Enterprise Zone investment, youth workforce development, and community revitalization, the Clean Street Corps provides meaningful employment and training opportunities for young adults while contributing to a cleaner, greener, and more vibrant Phillipsburg.
